Available from 1985 to 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Downloading by biome, department, province, district and any other desired geometry using the <a href=\"https:\/\/code.earthengine.google.com\/?scriptPath=users%2Fmapbiomas%2Fuser-toolkit%3Amapbiomas-user-toolkit-lulc.js\">Toolkit<\/a> prepared in Google Earth Engine (GEE). Watch the &nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=OBqaoSuLGbk\">tutorial video<\/a> to discover how to use the toolkit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>*To use this toolkit it is necessary to have an account for<a href=\"https:\/\/earthengine.google.com\"> Google Earth Engine<\/a> (free)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Important:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>All data are in GeoTiff format and have LZW compression.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The legend codes can be found in <a href=\"https:\/\/peru.mapbiomas.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2025\/10\/Leyenda_MapBiomasPeru_3-Leyenda-CortaENES.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Legend Codes C3<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The RGB color palette of the legend is available for <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/peru.mapbiomas.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2025\/10\/ArcGis_Peru_2024_Nivel1_c3.lyr_.zip\" target=\"_blank\">ArcMap Level 1<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/peru.mapbiomas.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2025\/10\/ArcGis_Peru_2024_Nivel2_Nivel3_c3.lyr_.zip\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ArcMap Level 2 and 3<\/a>, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/peru.mapbiomas.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2025\/10\/QGis_Peru_2024_Nivel3_c3.clr_.zip\" target=\"_blank\">QGis<\/a>, or as a <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/peru.mapbiomas.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2025\/10\/MapBiomasPeru_legend.csv_.zip\" target=\"_blank\">csv file<\/a> for ease of use in other programs such as R.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The annual maps are consolidated in a single file with several bands, where each band represents a year of the historical series (the 1st band corresponds to the first year of the series).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The name of the bands follows the following pattern: 'classification_+corresponding year'<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The international boundaries used by MapBiomas Peru are those elaborated by IBC in coordination with RAISG and may present differences with files from other national sources.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>WATER SURFACE MAPS<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">The most current MapBiomas Water maps can be accessed in the following ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1.
